After nearly a decade with UC Davis, Blair Stephenson has announced his retirement this summer. Blair has made a lasting impact on FOA, leading with integrity, innovation and a deep commitment to our mission. We are incredibly grateful for his contributions and wish him the very best in this next chapter! 

As part of this transition, we are making a few organizational adjustments to ensure continued success while also navigating our budget constraints. Rather than refilling the position, I have decided to reorganize in a way that maintains strong support for FOA while also streamlining operations. 

The key changes include: 

• Divisional Resources (FOA Communications, FOA Human Resources, FOA Business Partners) will now report to Associate Vice Chancellor Radhika Prabhu, who also leads FOA Admin IT. Bringing these strategic FOA support functions together under one leader will create valuable synergies and help accelerate innovative solutions across our division. 
• University Resources (Supply Chain Management and Conference and Events) will transition to Associate Vice Chancellor Matt Okamoto, who currently leads Finance. This alignment strengthens our ability to collaborate on cost control, compliance, and forecasting. Additionally, Mike Kuhner will oversee Conference and Events, as its work aligns closely with other contract-heavy, customer-focused services. 

These changes are now in effect, ensuring we have time for a smooth transition before Blair’s last day. We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and support as we adjust to these new alignments.
