Curtailment on Davis Campus

Human Resources announced curtailment plan for UC Davis, set for six days at the end of this year, while the UC Office of the President proposed a separate curtailment plan that would require certain employees to take unpaid days off. Custodial Services pilots new waste collection protocol in 9 buildings

Beginning Monday, Nov. 9, Custodial Services is implementing a new waste collection protocol will support composting, zero waste and custodial staffing needs. Read more, including waste collection changes for the labs located in these buildings as well as its sustainability benefits.

Supply Chain continues food drive

Supply Chain Management is once again running its annual food drive through Nov. 20, collecting food items for the ASUCD Food Pantry and the Rose Family Empowerment Center. To participate leave food in your outgoing campus mail, or drop off donations in bins located at 615 Hopkins or at UCDH Mail Service Warehouse at 7301 14th Ave. in Sacramento. Read more.


Arboretum plant sale moves online this season

In an effort to keep our staff and community safe, the Friends of the UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden Plant Sales have moved online with a curbside pickup model. The fall 2020 online plant sales are only open to Friends of the UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden members but all are welcome to join.
