  • The provost sent her annual budget framework letter last week with updated savings targets in the context of state budget uncertainties, increasing costs and our core funds structural deficit. Read the budget message.

  • Nominate yourself or a fellow employee who has promoted advancing wellness through research, education, or advocacy for the Jacquelyn Anderson Wellness Innovation Award, which comes with a $2,500 prize. Submit a nomination by April 19.
  • ๐Ÿ’ธ   Attend student loan workshop

  • Learn about options for repaying student loans at an upcoming Financial Well-being workshop, hosted by Staff and Faculty Health and Well-being and University Credit Union. Register for the April 22 event.

  • Learn how to activate the bodyโ€™s natural relaxation response through guided imagery at an upcoming Relax and Release session. Register for the April 24 event.

  • Enjoy a โ€œmini Picnic Dayโ€ with the little ones in your life with activities from bubbles in the Arboretum, to a goat meet and greet, to a tour of library archives as part of the universityโ€™s Take Our Children to Work Day celebration. Register for the April 25 events, including lottery tickets for special activities.
  • ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐ŸŒพ  Shop local produce on campus

  • Find fresh strawberries, avocados, flowers and more alongside campus resource tables at the UC Davis Farmers Market, held at the Student Community Center every Wednesday through May 29. Learn more and make plans to attend.

  • Free, weekly Active Aggies drop-in classes, including Pilates, strength, Tai Chi and yoga, will be held through June 14. See the spring schedule.
