Administrative Innovation and Technology

Radhika Prabhu, Assistant Vice Chancellor

Administrative Innovation and Technology (Admin IT) combines technology and business professionals to support enterprise systems and technologies for FOA, enabling UC Davis to achieve its teaching, research and service mission. Their teams ensure that FOA staff members have the technology tools, training, help and support they need to best serve the campus and community.


Budget and Institutional Analysis

Sarah Mangum, Associate Vice Chancellor

Budget and Institutional Analysis (BIA) uses campus data to advise university leadership on efficient, effective management of the university's resources. Their teams provide policy analysis on a wide range of issues, including enrollment, instructional workload, faculty positions and other institutional policies.


Design and Construction Management

Julie Nola, Associate Vice Chancellor and University Architect

Design and Construction Management (DCM) delivers new, high-quality buildings at the forefront of green building design — and further works to transform existing facilities and improve infrastructure to the largest campus in the UC system. Their teams advise campus leaders with planning for capital improvement projects and assigning building space for education and administrative purposes.

Divisional Resources offers support services for the division of Finance, Operations and Administration, to keep our teams running smoothly with administrative support for FOA employees and operations.


Facilities Management

Clint Lord, Associate Vice Chancellor

Facilities Management provides expert maintenance and repair for buildings, equipment and vehicles on the UC Davis campus. Their teams also maintain the campus's utility needs, including electricity, water, natural gas, heating, cooling, and energy efficiency. Facilities Management's skilled-trades employees support our campus’s full range of research and teaching needs, from biosafety labs to historic barns. 


Finance

Matt Okamoto, Campus Controller

Finance provides UC Davis with financial services – and aims to maximize the impact of university resources to meet the needs of campus customers, leadership and employees. It's also home to units such as the cashier’s office, payroll, student accounting, and more. They fulfill the university's administrative requirements for financial information and reporting, materials, supplies, equipment and services.


Fire Department

Nathaniel Hartinger, Interim Fire Chief

The UC Davis Fire Department provides a comprehensive mix of emergency response services including emergency medical services, fire suppression, basic and technical rescue, hazardous materials mitigation, public fire and EMS safety education, and domestic preparedness response. The UC Davis Fire Department is also home to the Health 34, a 24/7 mobile team that delivers non-emergency support for mental health care and basic medical care on the Davis campus.


Human Resources

Tammy Kenber, Chief Human Resources Officer

Human Resources provides services for employees and staff members for both UC Davis and UC Davis Health. They offer assistance for employees, supervisors and units regarding HR topics. They help sustain the workforce through recruitment, benefits administration, labor-relations services, mediation and professional development.


Police Department

Joseph A. Farrow, Chief of Police

The UC Davis Police Department works toward safety and justice that reflect UC Davis' community values. They serve students, faculty, staff and patients on both UC Davis campuses, Davis and Sacramento. They strive to work in partnership with community members, to promote public safety and crime prevention through education and enforcement.


Safety Services

Eric Kvigne, Associate Vice Chancellor

Safety Services fosters a culture of safety at UC Davis, to help maintain a safe and healthy campus environment. Their work aims for an incident-free campus where students and employees alike are educated and equipped to work safely. They provide a wide variety of critical resources for emergency preparedness, risk management, safety resources, fire prevention, employee health services, wellness programs, transportation services and more.


University Resources

University Resources combines groups that manage resources for the whole of UC Davis, including supply chain, distribution, mail, printing, event planning, equipment programs and campuswide sponsorships.
