Implemented the State's emergency management communication standard (Microsoft TEAMs) for all campus emergencies.

Housing Progress

Published a joint UC Davis / City of Davis Housing Report, highlighting outstanding progress in meeting campus housing goals.

Article 5 Requirements

Complied well with recent audits, demonstrating a commitment to meeting Article 5 requirements.

Vendor Risk Assessments

Processed more than 236 FOA software procurements through UC’s Vendor Risk Assessment.

Youth Protection

Convened a Youth Protection Workgroup to improve compliance with the University’s Activities and Programs with Minors policy.

Campus Tree Canopy

Students, staff and volunteers planted more than 250 trees last year to create a more climate resilient campus forest.

Facilities Condition Index

Completed assigning a Facilities Condition Index score to each campus building so that deferred maintenance needs can be prioritized.

Safe Rides

Played a critical role in maintaining on-campus safety and identifying the stabbing suspect, thanks to outstanding police officers and staff and campus cameras.

Day of Reflection

Pitched in during a time of need to organize a Day of Reflection with the City of Davis to help the healing process after a very difficult time in our joint community.

Fossil Fuel Free Pathway Plan

Released for public comment the UC system's first Fossil Fuel Free Pathway Plan, outlining a vision for achieving 95% fossil fuel reduction (using 2019 as baseline) by 2040.

Fire Department Redesignated

Redesignated the UC Davis Fire Dept. as ISO Class 1, a distinction held by less than 1% of all US fire departments.

Health 34

Successfully operationalized Health 34 after 18 months of planning, hiring and training.

Budget Video

Produced a 5-minute budget video that explains our core funds deficit in a short and informative style.

Capital Project Report

Released an annual report showcasing completed and ongoing major capital projects managed by Design and Construction Management.

Common Chart of Accounts

Completed migration to UC's Common Chart of Accounts on July 1, 2023, a major accounting, mapping and change management transition.

Grants and Funding

Hired a grant writer to pursue infrastructure grants and created marketing material to pitch the Big Shift and Vet Med clinics/hospitals to State representatives for hopeful funding.

Aggie Enterprise

Continued to meet major milestones and make progress towards implementing a new financial system (Aggie Enterprise) with long-term benefits, despite high costs.

Disaster Funding

Filed numerous insurance and FEMA claims to recover losses from extreme weather, including for damaged trees and buildings (winter storms) and flooded Tulare facility.
