Mike Kuhner became the campus Chief Procurement Officer and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Supply Chain Management in May 2022 after 14 years with UC Davis, most recently serving as Supply Chain’s Director of Business and Financial Services.

He is responsible for the many units that comprise the campus’ complete Supply Chain organization, including Supplier Services, Procurement and Sourcing, Accounts Payable and Disbursements, Travel and Expense Management, Banking Card Services, Mail and Special Services, Campus Storehouses, and Repro Graphics – our on-campus design and print shop. He represents UC Davis on the system-wide Procurement Leadership Council and serves in key roles on the Aggie Enterprise project and governance teams, helping to guide the design, testing, and implementation of the Oracle financial system.

As a UC Davis alum from the College of Engineering, Mike is proud to serve at his alma mater and the greater Davis community. He received a MS in Accounting from Regis University, and is a certified Managerial Accountant, Project Management Professional, and Six Sigma Green belt.
