After nearly a decade with UC Davis, Blair Stephenson has announced his retirement this summer. Blair has made a lasting impact on FOA, leading with integrity, innovation and a deep commitment to our mission. We are incredibly grateful for his contributions and wish him the very best in this next chapter!

βͺ Expect causeway delays
- Starting this Friday at 9 p.m. through Tuesday at 5 a.m., Sacramento region commuters should expect delays as eastbound US-50 will be fully closed through parts of West Sacramento. See the closure map for more details.
βͺ Make plans for performance appraisal
- The performance appraisal period for non-represented staff members and K-3 skilled craft employees is underway until mid June. Get resources for completing the self-evaluation, including a webinar on March 25.

π£ Get updates on federal actions, DEI and research
- Join Renetta Tull, Vice Chancellor of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Simon Atkinson, Vice Chancellor for Office of Research; and other campus leaders to hear about the effects of the latest federal actions surrounding DEI and research initiatives. Register and submit your questions for Friday's event.

- Join networking opportunities and discussions on AI in administration, creative problem-solving and people management at the 2025 ADMAN conference on April 2. Apply for a scholarship by March 18.

- Throughout March, ASAP is hosting in-person and virtual workshops on topics like grounding techniques, managing acute stress and cultivating self-compassion. See the full slate and register.

- Consider nominating yourself or another employee who shows a commitment to promoting wellness through research, education or advocacy for the Jacquelyn Anderson Wellness Innovation Award. Learn more and submit a nomination by April 11.
