Andrew leads creative communication initiatives that elevate engagement that support the university’s mission and create meaningful connections within the community.
With a deep understanding of strategic communications, Andrew ensures that the division’s messages are clear, impactful, and visually engaging. Under his leadership, FOA Communications has earned national recognition, including two prestigious gold awards from the 2024 CASE Circle of Excellence Awards.
The Davis Day of Reflection event, which Andrew helped organize, was honored for its profound impact on the UC Davis community during a time of tragedy, bringing together more than 2,000 participants in reflective activities.
Additionally, the IDEA$ at Work campaign, which Andrew played a key role in developing, received a gold award for its successful engagement of university employees in addressing budget challenges, gathering nearly 2,000 suggestions for efficiencies and revenue generation.
