Digest: Volunteer for commencement & more ways to stay engaged
/to-do list
-
⚪ Volunteer for commencement
-
Help celebrate our students, while getting a free t-shirt, water bottle and crossbody bag, by scanning tickets, handing out programs, directing students to and from the stage or filling another important role as a volunteer. Sign up for any (or every) ceremony, and plan to arrive before 5 a.m.
-
⚪ Avoid driving to campus during commencement
-
Due to traffic and parking congestion during commencement, consider working remotely — or if you have to be onsite, biking, busing or carpooling — on June 10 - 12. Learn more about how campus is encouraging a car-free commencement.
-
⚪ Peruse the Staff Experience Survey results
-
Check out how UC Davis performed in key areas of engagement and cultivating a positive working environment, including scores reflecting that most staff members feel their work is meaningful, well-suited to their strengths and flexible. Both are now eager to give back to their fellow Aggies as CORE officers, a position designed to give the UC Davis community an easy, informal way to find assistance from the police department. Read their stories.
