To aid in campus decision making, employees can now report their vaccine information in the Health-e-Messaging portal, including immunization date(s), manufacturer and COVID-19 Vaccine Record Card. This information is not yet required, but UC's interim COVID-19 vaccination policy does require employees either get vaccinated or sign a declination form. The new Space Release Program entices campus units to consolidate their space on campus, to earn a minimum of $25,000 each year for three years. As part of the process, participating units will have some of their moving costs covered and will have access to "SMASH the Stash" services to help with clutter and waste removal. Reassigning campus space and reducing off-campus leases could save the university $4 million annually. Read more about how the Space Release Program and SMASH the Stash services work.
