Davis joins CA COVID Notify app pilot
UC Davis and the Davis community is invited to get the CA COVID Notify App for their phone, to add another layer of protection for your household and the Aggie community. Read more about how the app works.
Parking updates for 2021
Commute patterns are changing, and Transportation Services is adapting parking operations to better serve campus and Aggies with flexible work/class schedules. Changes include daily parking rates and implementation of the ParkMobile app. Read more.
AggieAccess moves forward, goes mobile
AggieAccess implementation is in progress, updating electronic access software and hardware and introducing new mobile credentials in a staged rollout plan across 147 campus buildings. The project will make the campus more efficient and secure with a consistent, consolidated electronic access system. Read more.
New parenting support group in development
WorkLife and Health ASAP will be co-sponsoring a new virtual Parent Support Group, open to all UC Davis campus and Health staff, students and faculty who are parents or guardians of children 0-17. Potential participants can complete a short survey indicating child ages, potential favored topics, and best times of day to meet.
Shop members-only clearance plant sale tomorrow
After a Thanksgiving hiatus, the Friends of the UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden resume members-only, online plant sales with special clearance rates—20-30% off everything—Dec. 4-8. Read more, purchase a Friends membership, shop and schedule your contact-free, curbside pickup.
Mail Services wraps up successful food drive
Thanks to generous donations from individuals at the Davis and Sacramento campuses, Mail Services delivered 2,304 pounds of food for people in need. This included 1,509 pounds of food for the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services and 795 pounds of food for the ASUCD Food Pantry. Read more.
Toy drive deadline shortened
Mail Services has moved up the deadline for the annual Toys for Tots drive to this Friday, Dec. 4 at the request of the Marine Corps Reserve, which runs Toys for Tots in Yolo County. If you would like to participate, please donate new, unwrapped toys through your campus mail outbox or at Mail Services at 615 Hopkins Rd by 5 p.m. on Dec. 4. Read more.
UCPath outage begins Dec. 9
UCPath will be unavailable to all UC employees from 10 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, to 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14 as the system is transferred to a new platform to improve end-user experience and system performance. Read more to find out what services will be unavailable.
