Utilizing outdoor spaces with tent reservations
Several tents have been pitched across campus to be used as outdoor instruction, dining and recreation space. Five of these tents are available for reservation. Find out more including tent locations and availability.
Duty calls! Testing sewage for COVID-19
Facilities Management employees are working with campus researchers to collect samples from our wastewater treatment system for evidence of the coronavirus. New samplers will help the team test up to 22 locations per week to identify a potential outbreak. Read more.
Deploying Campus Ready signage
Building Maintenance Services has been hard at work coordinating the installation of Campus Ready signs in common areas such as building entries, elevators, lobbies and restrooms. Read more. Find signage on the Campus Ready website.
More campus response to COVID-19
A new “Testing and Response” section of the Campus Ready website brings together information about UC Davis efforts regarding saliva testing, contact tracing, quarantine, isolation, flu vaccines, and related policies. Find out more.
Adjusting ventilation for campus safety
Facilities Management is continuously monitoring the air quality and adjusting ventilation to temporarily recirculate indoor air when the Air Quality Index reaches unhealthy levels of 150 or above. Read more.
Toy drive deadline shortened
Human Resources is introducing the Staff Experience Survey on the Davis campus beginning Oct.12, with the goal of understanding and improving the staff experience.
Check out the survey questions, information on confidentiality, the science behind the survey and the survey timeline. HR is also contributing $1 to the Staff Emergency Fund for every survey completed.
HR shares voluntary separation option
Human Resources announced a Voluntary Separation Program (VSP) that will provide severance pay for eligible employees who voluntarily elect to leave their jobs. Find out more, including eligibility details, pay tables and deadlines.
UC Davis ranks among greenest universities
