Getting Campus Ready is a constantly evolving process as units across campus provide resources and take action to minimize exposure to the coronavirus and allow for a gradual return to campus.

COVID-19 testing now for all employees

COVID-19 test tubes

All employees are now eligible and required to get COVID-19 testing in order to access campus facilities. If you currently visit campus at least once per week, you will be required to get tested every seven days. If you visit campus less frequently, then please plan ahead and secure a testing appointment in advance, up to seven days before or on the day of your visit. To monitor compliance with this requirement, a question about testing will be added to the Daily Symptom Survey on Dec. 1. Read more.

Be prepared if traveling for the holidays

UC Davis is reminding all members of the campus community to avoid all non-essential travel. Employees and students who are planning on traveling out of state over the holiday breaks should plan to self-quarantine for 14 days upon returning, per the state guidelines. Read more.

Staff and Faculty Health and Well-being just earned silver-level recognition on the American Heart Association’s Workplace Health Achievement Index for events and initiatives encouraging the physical and mental well-being of the university community. Participate in the Healthy Holiday Challenge

Staff and Faculty Health and Well-being is currently hosting the Healthy Holiday Challenge, an 8-week program that encourages participants to cultivate their own wellness through weekly email challenges, helpful tips, and supportive tools for adopting healthy behaviors during the holidays. This year's challenge will run through January 8, 2021. Register for the challenge today!

Open Enrollment ends next week

Open Enrollment—the annual opportunity to make benefit changes—is coming to a close on Tuesday Nov. 24. Read more about actions you can take during open enrollment and find and compare medical plans and rates

Holiday food drive wraps up, toy drive launching 

The last day to donate to Supply Chain Management's annual food drive is Friday, Nov. 20. Donations will benefit the ASUCD Pantry and the Rose Family Creative Empowerment Center.  Read more to find out how to donate.

Still in the giving spirit? Mail Services is running their annual Toys for Tots drive from Nov. 30 to Dec. 15. To donate, drop off new, unwrapped toys through campus outgoing mail or at Mail Services at 615 Hopkins Rd. Read more.
