Grant comes to UC Davis as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Capital and Real Estate after a successful decade at Kaiser Permanente. In his most recent role as National Director of Real Estate, Grant had enterprise oversight over 115 real estate transactions annually, with a total dollar value in excess of $320 million.
In addition to real estate transaction management, Grant has been trained as a Six Sigma Greenbelt and has used that training for the development of a real estate “playbook” for Kaiser that resulted in significant process improvements across the national 64 million square foot portfolio.
In addition to his degrees from UCLA and the UC Davis Graduate School of Management, Grant has also earned the Senior Leader of Corporate Real Estate and Master of Corporate Real Estate designations as part of his continuing education.
Grant grew up in Davis, returning in 2004 to complete a graduate degree. He now currently lives in Davis with his son, Dillon (12) and his daughter, Lila (9). When he isn’t working, you can catch him coaching little league and travel ball baseball or on the golf course.
