Naftali Moed is a fourth-year undergraduate majoring in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning with a minor in Landscape Restoration. Since his first year as a UC Davis Student, Naftali has been very active on campus serving as an appointed official in student government and in a number of student clubs and organizations. Naftali has worked with the UC Davis Naturalized Lands Program for the past two years, contributing to projects focused on the stewardship of the Putah Creek Riparian Reserve and other naturalized areas that benefit the campus and greater community. Upon graduation in June 2016, Naftali hopes to pursue a career that enables him to continue to engage the community in the stewardship of open spaces.

Naftali is currently working alongside staff with the UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden (APG) to further develop and build capacity for the APG’s Learning by Leading Program. If you would like to know more about Naftali, please feel free to email him at
